History

Ken Murai helped create OpsTechnology, the leading procurement marketplace for multifamily residential, when SaaS and procurement software was a brand-new idea.

After RealPage acquired OpsTechnology in 2008, Ken started a small portfolio of 50 homes to understand the challenges of operating single-family properties. Getting quality maintenance work was inefficient and frustrating due to the lack of good technology solutions. Suppliers were frustrated by the difficulties in growing their businesses and operating efficiently.

Ken leveraged his proptech and rental property operator experience to create an innovative solution that streamlines maintenance, turns, and renovations for single-family, multifamily, affordable housing, and student housing proprietors.
